![]() I've disabled the Legacy and XHCI options in BIOS. No matter what it displays as I get the 'This device cannot start. When the driver for the cable is installing it says that it's installing the 'Rocksmith USB Guitar adapter' but it is diplayed in the device manager as either 'USB Audio Device' 'Hocksmit' or oddly enough 'Rocksmit' depending on the combination of ports, powered hub and other devices. I unplugged every device but my monitor and mouse with no luck. When none of that worked I bought a powered USB hub and tried every port again with no luck. I've tried every port on the Motherboard (ASUS Maximus IX Hero) and the case, so USB 3.1 Type-C, Type-A, 4 USB 3.0 ports on the Motherboard and 2 on the case, and 4 USB 2.0 ports on the Motherboard and 2 on the case. It works great on my laptop also running windows 10, completely plug-and-play. ![]() My desktop is a brand new build running windows 10. ![]()
